We are seeking a Mid-Level Field Electrical Engineer to support power and electrical infrastructure projects across Alaska. This role involves working with both AC and DC power systems, ensuring reliable electrical distribution, backup power, and telecom-related energy solutions within demanding operating environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design, installation, and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems
- Work with AC power systems, including UPS units and standby generators
- Support implementation and troubleshooting of DC telecom power systems and battery solutions
- Participate in site assessments, system testing, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure technical and safety compliance
- Contribute to technical documentation and engineering reports
Requirements
- 4–10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer (Engineer III or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- EIT or Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Demonstrated experience with AC power distribution systems
- Hands-on exposure to UPS systems and generators
- Experience working with DC telecommunications power systems and battery technologies
- Must be located in Alaska; Anchorage, Wasilla, or Eagle River preferred.
