We are seeking an experienced Telecom Engineer to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the UK Telecom market.

Role Overview:

This role requires strong expertise in handling BOM (Bill of Material/BOQ (Bill of Quantities) commercials, change order management, and final BOM/BOQ submissions upon project completion, while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure efficient resource allocation and project delivery within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Detailed BOM/BOQ commercial bids, including service charges, based on SOW/SMR requirements.
Track and incorporate change orders into the final commercial BOM/BOQ.
Monitor project expenses and conduct P&L analysis to ensure project profitability.
Review and reconcile final accounts at project closure, ensuring financial accuracy.
Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders and recommend strategies for cost optimisation.
Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Adhere to cybersecurity best practices, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive project data.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecom, Civil, Construction Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in the telecom sector.
Field survey experience, including TSSR/SOW/SMR preparation.
Proficiency in cost estimation, budget management, and final account reconciliation upon project closure.
Strong experience in change order tracking, P&L analysis, and project financial reporting.
Familiarity with industry regulations, cost management systems, and CAD software.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex project data.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction and telecom industries.
