This is a chance to teach the skills that are reshaping how businesses work, and to do it in a way that genuinely changes people's livelihoods. You will lead a free, 10-week bootcamp helping adults across East Sussex use AI and data in a real commercial context, building practical capability through projects rooted in their own goals, with a particular focus on helping small business owners work smarter.
TechNative is a Sussex-based, mission-led training provider building the region's AI and digital workforce. We are not in the business of certificates for their own sake; we exist to get people into real work and to help local employers grow. Our programmes are employer-led, government-funded, and delivered by people who bring genuine practice into the room. We are a small, ambitious team that moves quickly, cares deeply about our learners, and backs the people who deliver for them. If you want your teaching to have a measurable effect on people's careers, this is the place to do it.
We are hiring a freelance tutor to lead our AI and Digital Analytics for Business bootcamp, a free, 10-week Level 3 programme helping adults across East Sussex put AI and data to work in a real commercial context. Learning is applied throughout, built around two assessed projects grounded in each learner's own goals, with a real focus on helping non-tech small business owners become more productive and profitable.
You will deliver to an agreed scheme of work and adapt it to your cohort, supported by a Learner Success Manager, an employer network, and weekly planning with the Bootcamp Operational team. The cohort spans three pathways: people moving into AI and data roles, employed learners upskilling, and small business owners applying AI in their own work.
We are looking for an active practitioner in AI, data or applied digital, who uses AI tools daily and has experience teaching or training adults. You will teach interactively, care about where learners end up, and be motivated by clear outcome targets (course completion and learners progressing into work or applying new skills on the job). Familiarity with RARPA is helpful but can be trained. TechNative builds the AI and digital workforce across Sussex through employer-led, government-funded Skills Bootcamps. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, particularly those underrepresented in tech.
