£500-650 per day, Outside IR35, start date ASAP

Remote-first, London HQ

Most Copilot Studio contracts right now are greenfield experimentation inside teams that won’t ship, or maintenance work on agents nobody uses. This one is neither. And it isn’t just a heads-down build either.

Half the role is shipping production Copilot Studio agents inside one of the most governance-heavy environments in the UK. The other half is running AI literacy sessions and Copilot workshops for non-technical teams, shaping how entire organisations adopt agentic AI.

If you’re the kind of Copilot Studio developer who enjoys explaining why something matters as much as shipping it, who gets pulled into client workshops because you can translate the technical into plain English, this is the contract built for you.

The client is one of the more interesting AI transformation consultancies in London. Their roster includes NHS England, BP, Legal & General, Oxford University, Syngenta and major UK transport and infrastructure organisations.

The project you’d be joining is a policy agent for 700 procurement staff inside a 40,000-person organisation. The kind of build that puts you on the short list of people in the UK who’ve shipped production AI at national infrastructure scale.

Do a good job and you walk out with a name on your CV that opens doors for years. Methodology is "done with, not done for", so you’re building alongside the client, not throwing flows over a wall.

What you’ve already shipped:

  • Copilot Studio agents in production, not POCs
  • Custom actions and Power Automate flow orchestration
  • Knowledge grounding using SharePoint, Dataverse, or Graph
  • Agent logic, guardrails, and structured workflows
  • Enterprise system integration via APIs and custom connectors
  • Governance patterns (permissions, RBAC on actions, data access controls)
  • Work inside a several-thousand-person organisation
  • Stakeholder-facing delivery, comfort running workshops and training

Bonus: Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, adaptive cards, multi-agent orchestration, MCP / external tool integrations, Purview and Power Platform Admin Centre.

Not for you if your primary build surface is UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere and you’re picking up Copilot Studio in parallel. They need shipped Copilot Studio delivery as the primary skill.

One stage interview.
