Techmunity have exclusively hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer for a fast-growing startup who've built an AI-driven SaaS platform that runs operations for household names in the coffee shop/QSR world (Pret, Blank Street etc). They are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of their client-side architecture.
You will be the bridge between Design and Engineering, turning complex operational workflows into a seamless, reactive, and mobile-first experience. As their platform is increasingly accessed via mobile devices, they need a UI that is highly responsive, accessible, and performant.
In this role, you will define their frontend standards, architect a scalable component library, and mentor the team on modern React patterns - you will have true ownership on the frontend architecture and the license to drive technical strategy.
They are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who has:
- Deep React Expertise: You have extensive experience building complex Single Page Applications (SPAs) using React and TypeScript.
- Design System Experience: You have previously built or significantly contributed to a component library (using tools like Storybook).
- CSS Mastery: Whether it's Tailwind, styled-components, or CSS Modules, you know how to architect CSS at scale without it becoming unmaintainable.
- Testing Mindset: You don't consider a feature done until it's tested. Experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright) is essential.
Bonus points for experience in any of the below areas:
- Progressive Web App technologies (service workers, offline capabilities).
- Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, Turborepo).
- Experience in a startup environment where you had to balance "shipping fast" with "building for scale".
This Senior Frontend Engineer role is paying up to £100,000 plus the opportunity to get meaningful equity before it's diluted with advanced investment rounds. The team work 5 days a week onsite in London (Holborn). VISA sponsorship is also available. Interviews are underway.
