£110K–£130K + Equity

Are you a Lead Software Engineer ready to build at scale, ship impactful AI products, and grow into a Head of Engineering role?

Techmunity are partnering with a fast-moving AI EdTech startup using machine learning to redefine how the world learns.

Their product – already showing early traction – makes personalised tutoring at scale a reality.

Backed by strong funding (3+ years runway) and led by founders with successful edtech exits, they’re now building their core engineering team from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect and build a high-scale system designed for millions of users
• Lead CI/CD pipeline development, testing infrastructure, and system design
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy models into production
• Work with multi-modal data (text, images, audio, video)
• Shape engineering best practices and grow a high-performance team

What They’re Looking For

• Proven experience building high-load, scalable systems
• Strong Python and AWS expertise
• Experience with Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD automation
• Understanding of React.js and frontend architecture
• Passion for clean code and scalable system design (SOLID, KISS, etc.)
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience in a start-up or fast-moving team
