This is a superb opportunity to join a well-established and reputable business seeking to add an additional Service Engineer within the Service team to deliver the company’s exceptional customer service standards. The role will appeal to experienced Service Engineers from the Catering Equipment sector. Our client will also consider applications from Gas Safe registered Plumbers keen to move into the sector and who are willing to complete the Commercial Catering Gas qualifications required for the role, with the assistance of a fully supported training package.

Essential Criteria:

  • Post-apprenticeship experience in the installation, maintenance and servicing of all types of commercial catering equipment
  • Possess the following industry standard qualifications: COMCAT 1 - 5 qualified (1-3 will also be considered)
  • Gas Safe registered
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, setting an example to the Service team through technical knowledge and quality of work
  • Highly customer focused, presentable and possessing strong communication skills
  • A high level of awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace (CSR as a minimum required)
  • Possess Maths & English GCSEs (or equivalent)
  • Full clean driving license

Desirable Criteria:

  • F-Gas qualification to permit work on refrigeration equipment
  • Electrical knowledge (qualifications an added advantage)
  • Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH or equivalent, 1st Aid at Work, Working at Height)
