Our client is a leading UK food producer based in Ballymena, committed to quality, innovation, and excellence. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
Location: Ballymena
Salary: £40,500 - £46,000
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Hours are weekly rotating shifts (subject to change).
- Grade 1 Single Skilled Maintenance Engineer: £20.04 per hour
- Grade 2 Skilled Engineer: £20.84 per hour
- Grade 3 Intermediate Engineer: £21.51 per hour
- Grade 4 Technician (Multi-Skilled): £22.77 per hour
Overtime Rates:
- Time and a half (OT1.5) for standard overtime
- Double time (OT2) for Sundays
Key Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Relevant engineering qualification (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled)
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
