Based solely in local NI offices with a degree of flexibility, this is an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong Mechanical building Services Design experience to step into a leadership and delivery role in a fast moving sector.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the design delivery for decarbonising a range of commercial projects.
  • Delivering mechanical designs including schematics, calculations, plant selections, BOMs, and project specifications.
  • Developing and validating BMS control strategies, from design through to on-site verification.
  • Collaborating with fabrication teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into manufactured solutions.
  • Supporting commissioning activities, including optimisation and proofing of BMS controls.
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer ideal but not essential (CIBSE or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar mechanical design role.
  • Solid understanding of UK standards.
