We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join a world leading engineering service team supporting advanced industrial machinery across Northern Ireland. The client is a world renowned European partner in sheet metal and material processing solutions with a worldwide network and reputation as a number 1 supplier in the precision engineering sector on a global basis. This is a hands-on, field-based role in NI where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing high-precision equipment used in modern manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission complex machinery at customer sites
  • Diagnose mainly mechanical and also electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown response
  • Provide on-site technical support and customer guidance
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation

What we're looking for:

  • Strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering ideally within precision engineering
  • Working knowledge of CNC/PLC systems and drive systems
  • Ideally experience with laser and brake press machines
  • Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Keen to undergo considerable bespoke training probably in Europe initially for a short time.
