We are recruiting for a Batching Operative to join our team based in Ballymena on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will operate the computer-controlled batching plant, ensuring concrete is produced safely, efficiently and to the required specification. Hours of Work MondayFriday, 40 hours per week No nights or evenings or weekends 7am4pm or 8am5pm (to be confirmed) Key Responsibilities Operate the batching plant safely and efficiently. Ensure concrete meets required specifications and quality standards. Complete pre-use and pre-start checks and report any issues. Maintain clean and well-maintained equipment, including end-of-shift washdown. Work effectively as part of a team and meet production deadlines. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Criteria Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a busy factory environment. Good communication and organisational skills. Understanding of workplace health & safety and COSHH. Willingness to develop skills in required testing procedures. Desirable Criteria Knowledge of quality assurance or lean manufacturing. Experience in concrete, chemical or production environments.
