The Role
- Develop and progress features for our next‑generation real‑time media transport, processing, and monitoring software.
- Maintain and improve our existing internal and production software products.
- Work within a collaborative within a highly agile environment and participate in daily team prioritisation and organisation.
- Review other team members’ code contributions within an Agile development framework, giving feedback, and building and sharing knowledge.
- Collaboration with our technical colleagues within some of the world’s major broadcasters contributing to business‑critical live broadcasts.
- Experience with a modern front‑end framework ideally React.js.
- Experienced with source control and collaboration through Git.
- Working knowledge of Linux.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK, this role can be office (Bracknell or Leeds) or hybrid in the UK.
The following are desirable but not essential.
- Experience in UX design.
- Rust
- Interest in real‑time media transport.
- Knowledge of networking, UDP, RTP, Multicast and Unicast.
- Experience with AngularJS.
- Proven flexibility to adapt to new techniques and languages.
