Competitive salary and benefits package. We move the world's biggest live broadcasts over IP and the cloud — sport, news, entertainment that millions of people watch in real time. We're growing fast on the back of major private equity investment, and we need a marketing manager who can keep up: someone who thrives on running several things at once, loves turning complex tech into stories customers want to read, and gets a kick out of seeing a campaign or an event come together.
You'll join a close-knit marketing team of four - our Marketing Director, a Marketing Executive, an Industry Engagement Lead and you. The team covers everything from product launches and case studies to our presence at the industry's biggest trade shows. If you want a role where no two weeks look the same and your work shows up in front of premier global broadcasters, read on.
Who we are
Techex is a UK-based global leader in IP and cloud broadcast solutions. The world's top broadcasters trust us with their most valuable live workflows - the stuff that absolutely cannot go wrong on air. We build our own software and partner with world-class technology companies who share our mission. We've just secured Great Place to Work accreditation for the third year, we're PE-backed and scaling fast, and we're hiring talented people who want to grow with us.
What you'll actually do
You'll report to the Marketing Director and work day-to-day with our Marketing Executive and Industry Engagement Lead - a small collaborative team where everyone owns real outcomes. Three areas will take up most of your week:
- Campaigns: Plan and run integrated campaigns that drive pipeline and build the Techex brand globally. Digital, content, email, social, paid and events will all be part of the mix.
- Content: Along with your marketing colleagues, you will work closely with our product and engineering experts to turn what we do into compelling product collateral, case studies, white papers and sales enablement.
- Events: Project manage our presence at some of the trade shows (IBC, NAB and others) plus our own customer events. Booth, pre-show campaigns, on-site activation, follow-up are all key elements.
Apart from that, you'll keep our brand consistent across every touchpoint, work closely on the marketing side of our CRM and analytics stack, report on what's working (and what isn't), and bring competitor and market insight back to the team.
Who we think you are
- You've done this kind of role before - ideally in broadcast, media, tech or SaaS - and you can point to campaigns, content and events you're proud of.
- You're a self-starter who's genuinely happy juggling several projects without dropping any of them.
- You can take something technical and complicated and turn it into something a customer wants to read.
- You're comfortable with data - campaign performance, web analytics, CRM - and use it to make decisions.
- You enjoy working as part of a small, collaborative team where everyone pitches in.
- You've used AI tools to make your marketing sharper, faster, or better targeted.
- A marketing, business or related degree is a plus, not a must.
