Credit Control / Accounts Assistant

Encore Media Group is seeking a proactive and ambitious credit control and accounts assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of group companies within a fast-paced industry. We\’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives on improving financial processes, and enjoys working collaboratively to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase and sales ledgers, including invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and credit control
• Prepare and execute supplier payment runs, including setting up new supplier accounts and verifying credit terms
• Respond to invoice-related queries promptly and professionally
• Review existing financial systems and processes; support the implementation of new payment platforms and system improvements
• Accurately recognize and record sales invoices in the accounting system
• Provide support on payroll and vat as needed (payroll experience a strong plus)

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as Xero and Clearbooks
• Familiarity with Sage, Stripe, and Wise payment platforms
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to financial management
