We’re looking for a commercially driven, strategic, and hands-on Content & Email Marketing Manager to join our Bristol-based team and play a key role in promoting a portfolio of international tech events.
Role Overview: The Content & Email Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising social media and email marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. This role combines creative storytelling with data-driven performance marketing across owned digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, etc)
- Plan and manage a social media content calendar aligned with event marketing campaigns
- Create and publish engaging social content (copy, visuals, short-form video)
- Manage community engagement including comments, messages, and social listening
- Track trends and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant
- Collaborate with design, video, and wider marketing teams
- Email Marketing
- Own the email marketing strategy across campaigns.
- Build, schedule, and optimise email campaigns including segmentation and personalisation
- Write compelling email copy with strong CTAs
- Manage email databases, list hygiene, and compliance (GDPR, etc)
- Conduct A/B testing to improve open rates, CTRs, and conversions
- Campaigns & Performance
- Support integrated marketing campaigns across social and email
- Monitor, analyse, and report on channel performance and KPIs
- Optimise content and campaigns based on insights and data
- Work closely with sales, events, or growth teams to support lead nurturing
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in social media and email marketing
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Hands-on experience with social platforms and scheduling tools
- Experience using email platforms
- Strong analytical skills and performance optimisation experience
