Encore Media Group is seeking a proactive and ambitious Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of group companies within a fast-paced industry. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives on improving financial processes, and enjoys working collaboratively to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase and sales ledgers, including invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and credit control
- Manage banking and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and execute supplier payment runs, including setting up new supplier accounts and verifying credit terms
- Respond to invoice-related queries promptly and professionally
- Review existing financial systems and processes; support the implementation of new payment platforms and system improvements
- Assist with annual audit processes and provide necessary documentation and reporting
- Accurately recognize and record sales invoices in the accounting system
- Conduct variance analysis and resolve discrepancies or errors in a timely manner
- Provide support on payroll and VAT as needed (payroll experience a strong plus)
- Assisting with office management support
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Xero and Clearbooks
- Familiarity with Sage, Stripe, and Wise payment platforms
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to financial management
