Major Duties:
- Liaise with fellow developers
- Designing and implementing microservices which use the Spring Boot framework
- Working in compliance with the full Software Development Life Cycle
- Connecting microservices to interact with databases
- Understanding of how streaming technologies work such as Kafka
- Build Azure/AWS pipelines
- Identifying and finding solutions to bugs
- Ensure you’ve written adequate test cases to verify design requirements are being met
- Create well written documentation for the individual microservices
Knowledge/Skills:
- JAVA SDK8 or newer
- Microservices based on Spring Boot
- Development experience with React
- Azure or AWS Services their integration & Development
- Oracle or similar Database
- Agile Methodology
- Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A positive goal orientated attitude with a focus on delivery
Preferred/Recommended:
- Familiarity with financial market/instrument/Trade lifecycle
- Ability to write SQL
Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Overall 12+ Years of Industry experience in IT and Java Backend should be 10+ Years experience
- MUST Experience in agile development methodology
- Proven ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
