Trainee Recruitment Consultant at TechChain Talent, Chiswick, London | Full-Time, On-Site

Location: Chiswick, London (5 days on-site)

Salary: £30,000 base + uncapped commission

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to enter the world of specialist technology recruitment from the ground up inside one of the most exciting sectors in the global economy. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be fully trained and mentored from day one. There is no prior recruitment experience required and we genuinely welcome applications from school leavers, recent graduates, and career changers alike. You will join a close-knit, high-performing team and be given the tools, training, and support to build a successful desk within our growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
  • Source exceptional candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and direct headhunting
  • Write compelling outreach messages and job adverts that attract high-quality talent
  • Conduct structured screening interviews to assess candidate suitability, motivations, and career goals
  • Manage candidate pipelines from initial contact through to offer and placement
  • Process & Administration
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within our CRM (Manatal)
    • Coordinate interview scheduling and provide timely feedback to both clients and candidates
    • Prepare candidate summaries and present shortlists to clients in a clear, professional format
    • Support senior consultants on live assignments and contribute to team targets
  • Business Development & Client Management
    • Research, identify, and approach new client companies across the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hiring managers and HR teams at leading crypto firms
    • Represent TechChain Talent professionally across all client interaction: phone, email, LinkedIn, and in person
    • Develop a deep understanding of client cultures, hiring needs, and the competitive landscape
