About the Company
TechChain Talent is a specialist Web3 and crypto recruitment agency operating as an embedded talent partner to some of the most consequential protocols and infrastructure teams in the space. We have scaled founding teams at Arbitrum Foundation, Scroll, Matter Labs, Sei Labs, Dune Analytics, OP Labs, and more. We are a small, high-output team working from Chiswick Park, London, and we are growing.
About the Role
This is a senior billing role with a leadership dimension. You will run your own 360 desk covering permanent and embedded mandates across the Web3 ecosystem, while also helping shape how the team operates, mentoring junior members, and contributing to the way TechChain wins and retains clients. This is not a pure management role. You will be expected to bill, and bill consistently. You will work closely with the founder and report directly to him, with significant autonomy over your desk and the freedom to build in the niche or function where you are strongest.
Responsibilities
- Run a full 360 desk across permanent and/or embedded mandates in Web3, identifying, engaging, and placing senior technical and non-technical talent.
- Own client relationships end to end, from initial business development through to offer management and post-placement follow up.
- Develop new client relationships and contribute to TechChain's growth in protocols, infrastructure, and DeFi.
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing sourcing methods, BD approaches, and market knowledge.
- Contribute to team processes, candidate experience, and the way TechChain operates as it scales.
- Represent TechChain at industry events and within community spaces relevant to your niche.
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in tech recruitment, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in Web3, crypto, or adjacent spaces (fintech, deep tech, open source).
- A proven billing track record at senior or lead level, with the ability to demonstrate consistent revenue generation.
- Experience running a full 360 desk including business development, not just delivery or resourcing.
- Genuine curiosity about Web3 and a point of view on where the space is heading.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with founders, heads of talent, and C-suite stakeholders.
- A collaborative, low-ego approach that fits a small, high-trust team environment.
