About the Role

Our client is a data and technology business undergoing a complex global separation programme, transitioning systems, infrastructure and operations. With significant workstreams already in flight across ERP, HR platforms, network infrastructure, cloud migration, data, security, legal entity separation, procurement and real estate, the programme is now seeking an experienced Senior PMO to support the Separation Director in coordinating, governing and reporting the remaining phases of the programme through to completion.

This is a hands-on role requiring a highly organised individual who can bring structure, rigour and visibility across a complex programme environment. The successful candidate will own the day-to-day operation of the Separation Management Office (SMO), ensuring governance, reporting, RAID management and programme controls are maintained to a high standard. The role will act as the central coordination point across all programme workstreams, providing the Separation Director with clear visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, decisions and upcoming milestones.

Key Deliverables

  • Maintain and develop the integrated programme plan, ensuring all workstreams are tracked, dependencies are mapped and milestones are clearly defined.
  • Own and maintain the programme RAID log, ensuring risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and actions are accurately recorded, monitored and escalated where required.
  • Produce consolidated weekly and monthly programme reporting across all active workstreams.
  • Coordinate and administer the programme governance framework, including workstream meetings, Steering Committees, Board reporting, action tracking and decision logs.
  • Ensure programme status reports are submitted on time, reviewed for quality and consolidated into executive-level reporting packs.
  • Support the Separation Director in preparing Board packs, Steering Committee materials, executive updates and investor reporting.
  • Track programme milestones, deliverables and critical path activities, highlighting risks and delays proactively.
  • Coordinate cutover planning, readiness reviews and TSA exit activities across all workstreams.
  • Maintain visibility of TSA and rTSA activities, milestones and exit dependencies.
  • Support workstream leads in coordinating delivery activities and managing cross-workstream dependencies.
  • Maintain programme documentation, governance artefacts and reporting repositories.
  • Coordinate programme communications and stakeholder updates where required.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Senior PMO, PMO Lead or Programme Office Manager on large-scale technology transformation, separation or carve-out programmes.
  • Strong experience establishing and running programme governance frameworks.
  • Excellent RAID management, dependency management and action tracking experience.
  • Experience producing executive-level reporting, Steering Committee packs and Board updates.
  • Strong understanding of TSA management and exit planning within a separation environment.
  • Experience supporting complex programmes spanning infrastructure, cloud, ERP, HR systems, security and operational workstreams.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with programme planning, reporting and governance tools.
  • Ability to operate independently, identify gaps and drive programme discipline across multiple teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
  • MSP, Prince2, P3O or equivalent programme governance qualification desirable but not essential.
