Junior Econometrician in London

• Hybrid: (3 days in the Central London office)

Our client, a leading digital entertainment company is looking for a Junior Econometrician to join their Marketing Analytics team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take hands-on ownership of a Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) pipeline, working at the intersection of statistical modelling and experimentation.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and refining MMM models to measure channel ROI, using time-series marketing data (spend, impressions, external factors)
• Calibrating models against incrementality testing (GeoX tests, attribution data)
• Translating model outputs into budget scenario planning and "what-if" simulation tools
• Using SQL to dig into first-party user data and track key KPIs
• Partnering with Data Engineering to automate and improve data pipelines
• Presenting complex econometric/Bayesian/ML concepts clearly to marketing and senior stakeholders

What we're looking for

• A degree or proven experience in a highly quantitative field (Econometrics, Statistics, Maths, Data Science, Economics, or Engineering)
• Python (or R) proficiency in pandas, numpy, statistical modelling & ML
• Strong SQL skills for querying large relational datasets
• Exposure to, or strong interest in, MMM frameworks (Robyn, Meridian, PyMC/Bayesian workflows)
• Solid grounding in econometrics, time-series analysis, and regression modelling (OLS, Ridge/Lasso, Bayesian regression)
• Understanding of testing/experimentation methods (A/B, GeoX, hypothesis testing, MDE)
• Genuine interest in marketing dynamics (CAC, CPA, ROI, attribution)
