Our client is looking for someone who has spent years in data engineering or technical consultancy and has reached a point where the part they love most is bringing other people along for the ride. They are a growing AI and data practice delivering commercial training programmes on some of the most in-demand technologies in the market, including Starburst, Dell Data Lakehouse, and Data Warehousing architectures.

What you will be doing:

  • You will be leading facilitator-driven learning experiences across a range of audiences, from hands-on data engineers to non-technical business leaders making buying decisions, ensuring every single person in the session leaves feeling like it was worth their time and their organisation's money.
  • Alongside delivery, you will refine and contribute to course content.
  • Beyond the classroom, you will also support prospecting conversations and client-facing workshops, working cross-functionally with advisory and delivery teams.

The kind of person we’re looking for:

  • You have a solid technical foundation in data engineering, distributed systems, or data platform architecture. You do not need to be a Starburst expert on day one, but you need to be the kind of person who can get there quickly and then explain it to someone who has never heard of a query engine.
  • You have done the technical work and now you want to do the people side.

What is on offer:

  • Salary of £60,000 to £70,000, with flexibility for the right person.
  • A genuinely social, growing team based in Waterloo two days per week.
  • Exposure across training, advisory, and pre-sales from day one.
  • The opportunity to shape a training function that is already gaining real commercial traction.
