Our client, a MarTech business building an AI-driven platform that helps teams make better decisions about digital content and performance, is looking for an Engineering Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Blending hands-on coding and strategic leadership.
  • Ensuring engineering excellence: enforcing code review standards, implementing practical testing strategies, maintaining CI/CD hygiene, and defining clear completion criteria.
  • Managing engineering teams in a product-focused environment (startups or scale-ups preferred).
  • Leading cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering, Operations).
  • Full-stack technical proficiency: able to review, unblock, and guide frontend and backend development.

Required skills:

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including API design, data modeling, testing, and operational readiness.
  • Frontend: React, TypeScript.
  • Java 17+, Python (FastAPI).
  • Databases: DevOps: Docker, CI/CD.

It’s a hybrid role with travel to the central London office 2x per week.
