As an AI Engineer, you will develop and deliver LLM-based regulatory change detection solutions on Google Cloud, enabling automated identification and interpretation of regulatory updates. You will partner with Compliance, Risk, and Engineering teams to build secure, scalable AI solutions that improve regulatory compliance, traceability, and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI-driven solutions for regulatory change detection, regulatory adherence and controls automation within banking compliance technology.
- Build and optimise LLM-based workflows to ingest, classify, summarise and map regulatory updates to obligations, controls, policies and operational processes.
- Engineer scalable data and AI pipelines on Google Cloud using cloud-native services, APIs, secure integration patterns and automated deployment practices.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Product and Technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical AI-enabled solutions.
- Implement robust prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation, human-in-the-loop review and explainability controls.
- Ensure AI solutions meet enterprise standards for security, data privacy, auditability, governance, resiliency and regulatory compliance.
- Support integration with existing compliance platforms, workflow tools, reporting layers and control management systems.
- Work within Agile delivery teams to refine user stories, estimate work, support testing and provide production implementation guidance.
- Monitor solution performance, tune models and pipelines, and continuously improve accuracy, precision, latency and operational usability.
- Contribute to engineering best practices for responsible AI adoption across compliance and regulatory technology initiatives.
