The Role
You’ll independently lead molecular biology development, establish automated workflows and help scale a commercially focused gene synthesis platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimisation of gene synthesis and DNA assembly methods.
- Develop automated laboratory workflows using Python and automations.
- Collaborate with the founding team to build a scalable commercial platform in a fast-paced start-up.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience establishing a gene synthesis or DNA assembly platform within a company or research institute.
- Hands‑on automation experience including Python programming and automation.
- Commercial start-up experience with strong molecular biology expertise and the ability to lead method development independently.
