The Role
As a Senior Molecular Biologist, you'll play a key role in developing and optimising molecular biology workflows that underpin a commercial gene synthesis platform. Working within a collaborative start-up environment, you'll combine hands-on laboratory work with scientific problem-solving to help take innovative technology from development to commercial reality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute and optimise molecular biology workflows, sequencing protocols and automated laboratory processes.
- Lead experimental workstreams, analyse sequencing data using Python-based tools, and drive continuous improvement across the gene synthesis platform.
- Collaborate with internal scientists and external partners while developing robust SOPs and supporting the transition towards commercial-scale operations.
