Content Designer is required by this niche consulting business, working with a local authority client responsible for the creation of consumer facing sites.

You will deliver high quality, accessible digital content that is driven by user needs. You will write, edit and publish content across all digital channels, with an aim to provide the best possible customer journey.

This will be focused across both Council websites, as well as our corporate intranet, where your work will also help to maximise internal staff engagement. You’ll help stakeholders to understand the right content usage to improve web usability.

Ideally this background will include work in similar local council roles, working across –

  • Content design and accessibility guidance

  • Delivery of high quality digital services

  • Figma design

  • Understanding of UI/UX design

  • Drupal based CMS themes

  • Gov.UK/WCAG design beneficial
