We are recruiting for a well-established property company with a large and varied portfolio across the UK who are looking for a Central Administrator to join their in-house Commercial Property Management team at their North London office. This role is ideal for an organised and motivated administrator looking to build or continue a career within commercial property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Commercial Property Management team
- Act as the first point of contact for tenants and contractors
- Raise and manage maintenance tickets and job orders
- Create, issue, amend and close purchase orders
- Track works from instruction through to completion
- Support health & safety compliance, audits and record keeping
- Coordinate utilities setup, closures and billing queries
- Submit contractor invoices and assist with invoice queries
- Maintain accurate records, trackers and filing systems
- Assist with diary management, inbox monitoring and key control
- Liaise with internal teams including property managers, accounts and legal
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in property administration (commercial or residential)
- Good understanding of repairs and maintenance processes
- Basic knowledge of health & safety requirements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional manner
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills including Word and Excel
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Qualifications
- A-levels or equivalent in business, administration or a related field (or relevant experience)
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch)
Salary
Competitive salary, dependent on experience
