We’re working with a well‑established, global financial services provider that offers multi‑asset trading solutions across international markets. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a mid‑level Commercial Finance Analyst or Management Accountant with strong commercial exposure to join their London‑based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong experience in management accounting and multi‑currency operations, ideally within a fast‑paced, regulated environment. A key focus of this role includes exposure to the revenue side and understanding the complexity of derivatives products that generate income – please only apply if you have experience in this area.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts in line with internal timelines and external standards.
- Manage multi‑currency accounting, including reconciliations and FX reporting.
- Process client deposits & withdrawals.
- Assist with cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Support year‑end audits, liaising with auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls and reporting processes.
- Generate financial insights and reports to support strategic decision‑making.
- Contribute to finance team projects and continuous process improvements.
- Work closely with revenue recognition processes, gaining exposure to the complexity of derivatives products and how they impact income generation.
Skills & Experience Required
- Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of multi‑currency accounts and international finance practices.
- Demonstrable exposure to the revenue side of the business and understanding of derivatives products complexity.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail‑oriented, analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
