Our client, a leading global logistics provider, is looking for a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join their growing engineering division. This represents a greenfield opportunity to really shape and own the IT function across two operational sites in Erith and a head office in London Bridge.
The Role:
- Provide walk-up and hands-on support for offices and warehouse floors.
- Maintain critical hardware including laptops, desktops, handheld scanners, and label printers.
- Build the IT triage process from scratch and map out existing assets.
- Drive the transition toward modern, cloud-managed devices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in and supporting a Windows desktop environment.
- Core networking skills to troubleshoot Wi-Fi, cabling, and server connectivity.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset, you look to fix things before you are asked to.
- Exceptional communication skills and patience when helping non-technical users under pressure.
