Office Manager / Site Administrator
Location: Hinxton, Cambridgeshire Duration: 2-Year Fixed-Term Project Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
We are recruiting for an experienced Office Manager / Site Administrator to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure project based in Hinxton.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role supporting a busy site team on a high-profile construction project.
This position is ideal for someone with previous construction administration or site office experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and deliveries.
- Managing the reception and day-to-day running of the site office.
- Providing administrative support to the project management team.
- Maintaining site records, registers and filing systems.
- Ordering office supplies and managing stock levels.
- Organising meetings, booking meeting rooms and preparing documentation.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner.
- Assisting with onboarding new starters and maintaining personnel records.
- Coordinating site inductions and visitor sign-in procedures.
- Processing timesheets, purchase orders and other project documentation where required.
- Supporting document control and ensuring information is accurately recorded.
- General office administration duties to support the successful delivery of the project.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Site Administrator, Receptionist or Project Administrator role.
- Experience working within the construction, civil engineering or infrastructure sector is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner.
