Location: Multiple roles: Nationwide regions across the UK ( London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester & Newcastle)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 to £55,000 basic, depending on experience (Plus: Overtime + Travel + Tesla)

Our client, an established enterprise security systems integrator operating nationwide since 2006, is looking for a CCTV and Access Control focused Security Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. You'll service, maintain and troubleshoot Access Control and CCTV systems across complex, high-security environments while developing your technical expertise through continuous manufacturer training and certification.
Position Overview
As a Security Service & Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a central role in maintaining enterprise CCTV and Access Control solutions across major sites nationwide. This position offers a fantastic work-life balance with absolutely no call-out duties. Working independently across customer sites, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive servicing, fault-finding, and provide technical support within critical and secure environments including data centres, government facilities and other high-security locations. Your work directly contributes to protecting vital infrastructure and ensuring operational continuity for clients operating in sensitive sectors.
Responsibilities

Service, maintain and troubleshoot Access Control and CCTV systems across enterprise environments

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs

Configure software, perform system diagnostics and resolve complex technical faults

Support system upgrades, minor works and maintenance projects

Support large-scale integrated and networked security solutions

Work independently across customer sites throughout the UK and Europe

Provide technical support within critical and secure environments

Complete relevant service reports and maintenance documentation accurately
Requirements

Proven experience in servicing and maintaining CCTV and Access Control systems

Strong technical fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Solid understanding of IP networking and integrated security systems

Experience working within commercial or enterprise environments (data centres, government, defence or critical infrastructure experience is valuable)

Good customer communication skills and professional approach to secure sites

Flexibility to travel as required for service and maintenance contracts

Ability to meet appropriate background screening and security clearance requirements

Experience with Gallagher, Lenel, Genetec or Nedap systems is advantageous
