Position Overview
As a Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering integrated security solutions to commercial and enterprise clients. You'll work across CCTV and video management systems, access control platforms, and intruder detection systems, ensuring clients receive reliable, professionally installed and maintained security infrastructure. Your work will directly contribute to protecting businesses and their assets, whilst supporting the company's ambitious growth plans across Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission integrated security systems including CCTV, access control and intruder detection platforms.
- Deliver preventative maintenance and service visits to maintain system performance and client satisfaction.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, minimising client downtime.
- Perform small works and system upgrades to enhance existing installations.
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly with clients throughout all interactions.
- Work safely and professionally across diverse commercial and enterprise environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience installing, commissioning and servicing integrated security systems.
- Working knowledge of CCTV and video management systems such as Avigilon, Axis, Hanwha Vision, Hikvision, Milestone or Genetec.
- Experience with access control platforms including Gallagher, LenelS2, C CURE 9000, Paxton or Salto.
- Familiarity with intruder alarm systems such as Galaxy, Texecom or Pyronix.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities and professional communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team across commercial environments.
