Our client, a well-established systems integrator, is looking for a Service Engineer to join their team dedicated to a key client. You'll deliver maintenance, servicing and installation work on CCTV and access control systems across multiple sites throughout the south east. If you have experience with Gallagher access control platforms and are ready to travel daily to client locations, this permanent role offers the chance to develop your technical expertise in a supportive team environment.
Position Overview
As a dedicated Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and installing security systems that protect our client's customers. You'll provide hands-on technical support for CCTV and access control systems, carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues and completing small-scale installations. Your work will directly impact client satisfaction and system reliability across key sites.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain CCTV systems at customer sites across multiple locations.
- Install and configure access control systems using Gallagher platforms.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and resolve technical faults promptly.
- Complete small works installations to agreed timescales and quality standards.
- Travel daily to client sites across the M4 Corridor, Reading to Swindon area.
- Communicate clearly with customers and document all work completed.
- Support the wider team to deliver consistent, professional service.
Requirements
- Proven experience servicing CCTV systems.
- Hands-on experience with Gallagher Access Control systems.
- Right to stay status in the UK or minimum 5 years continuous UK residency.
- If you've travelled abroad, you must have been back in the UK for at least 3 years.
- Current or previous Security Clearance (SC status) for unsupervised access to classified information.
- Willingness to travel daily across the south east.
- Strong team player with a positive, collaborative approach to work.
- Valid driving licence and access to reliable transport.
