Our client is a well-established security systems integrator with nearly 30 years' experience delivering high-end solutions across multiple sectors. They're seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their West London office. Position Overview
You'll support the delivery of complex security system installations, working closely with engineering teams to ensure projects run smoothly from planning through to completion. Your role bridges technical expertise and project coordination, giving you hands-on experience in scheduling, resource planning, cost tracking and client management. As you progress, you'll take ownership of smaller projects, developing the skills needed to manage larger, more complex installations independently.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and coordination of security system installations across multiple project phases
- Work closely with engineering teams to align technical delivery with project schedules and timelines
- Assist with labour planning, resource allocation and project scheduling using standard planning tools
- Monitor project progress and communicate regular updates to internal teams and clients
- Support cost tracking and budget management throughout project lifecycles
- Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally at all stages
- Prepare project documentation, coordinate handovers and support commissioning processes
- Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Gradually take full ownership of smaller projects as your experience and confidence grow
Requirements
- Experience working as an engineer within electronic security systems
- Exposure to CCTV, access control and integrated security systems (such as Gallagher, Lenel or Genetec)
- Strong desire and genuine motivation to move into project management
- Good organisational and communication skills with confidence working with clients and stakeholders
