- Service Engineer – Enterprise Security Integration
- Salary
: Up to £42,000 basic plus travel time, overtime, standby allowance and commission the earning potential is £50k+ plus company vehicle, health plan and 25 days holiday.
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national security integrator specialising in designing, installing, and maintaining integrated surveillance control systems for critical national infrastructure (CNI) sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Engineer with atleast 2-3 years of experience to step up into a more technically challenging enterprise environment.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with high-end security systems and receive training on cutting-edge technology in the industry.
Role Overview
As a Service Engineer, you will handle daily fault requests, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive service calls for large-scale integrated security systems at critical national infrastructure (CNI) sites.
Flexibility and a proactive, solution-oriented approach are key to success in this role, as well as occasional overnight stays.
You’ll work remotely, supported by an experienced team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair IP CCTV systems including Avigilon, Axis, Genetec.
- Service multi-site access control systems such as Genetec, Gallagher, Cardax, Xplan
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks.
- Deliver efficient, reliable service and excellent customer support.
- Keep the helpdesk updated after each service visit.
- Participate in the call-out rota and assist with other duties as required.
Skills and Experience
- Solid knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.
- Proficiency with DVR and NVR systems.
- Ability to carry out on-site repairs effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Organised, reliable, and self-motivated.
