They are seeking a CAD Designer to join their growing team on a permanent, fully remote basis. As a CAD Designer, you will play a key role in translating technical security requirements into detailed, accurate drawings that guide installation and implementation. You will work across multiple projects simultaneously, producing layouts for access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems whilst maintaining comprehensive design documentation throughout each project lifecycle.
- Produce detailed CAD drawings for electronic security systems including layouts and technical specifications.
- Create comprehensive designs for access control, CCTV and intruder alarm system installations.
- Update and maintain design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with designers, engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Support design revisions and modifications as projects develop and evolve.
- Assist with preparation of design packs and technical submissions for clients.
Proven experience working as a CAD Designer within the security or building technology sector.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software.
Solid understanding of electronic security systems including CCTV, access control and intruder systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
