A growing and well-established refrigeration and air conditioning specialist is looking for an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join their expanding team, covering commercial and industrial sites nationwide.

This is a nationwide role covering the South Coast up to the Midlands, with occasional work further north. Staying away will be required as part of the role, including longer periods on certain projects, which can last several weeks.

Working across commercial and industrial environments, including food preparation facilities, distribution centres, and large industrial sites, the successful engineer will be involved in a broad range of refrigeration and air conditioning works nationwide.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Installation, service, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Fault-finding and diagnostics across a range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Working on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, cold rooms, CO2 refrigeration systems, and air handling units
  • Attending planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
  • Participating in a callout rota of 1 in 3/4, with a £200 standby

To be considered, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer
  • F-Gas Category 1 certification
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
  • A full UK driving licence

The successful Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer will be on up to £50,000, depending on experience + van + pension + standard holiday (increasing with years of service) + bank holidays + bonuses.
