Intermediate Air Conditioning Installation Engineer London & Home Counties | Up to £42,000 + Travel Pay + Full Package Ready to take the next step in your AC career? I’m working with a well-established HVAC contractor who is looking for an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join their growing team, working across commercial projects throughout London and the Home Counties. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who has already built up solid AC installation experience and is ready for more responsibility, more independence and a genuine step forward in their career. You’ll mainly be working alongside a Senior AC Engineer on larger commercial installations, learning from an experienced team and developing your skills, while also having the opportunity to take ownership of smaller projects yourself. What’s in it for you? * £38,000–£42,000 DOE * Travel pay * Full company package * Permanent position * Commercial installation projects * London & Home Counties * Work alongside experienced Senior Engineers * Opportunity to work independently on smaller projects * Genuine progression within an established HVAC business * Ongoing training and development The Role You’ll be involved in the installation of commercial air conditioning systems across a variety of projects, working as part of a skilled installation team. You’ll be: * Installing commercial air conditioning systems * Working on split, multisplit, VRV and VRF systems * Installing pipework, equipment and associated components * Working alongside Senior AC Engineers on larger projects * Taking responsibility for smaller installation projects where required * Assisting with testing, commissioning and handover * Reading drawings and working from installation plans * Ensuring installations are completed safely, neatly and to a high standard * Travelling across London and the Home Counties What We’re Looking For This role would suit someone who has moved beyond the traditional AC improver/mate level and is ready to start working with more independence. You'll need: * Previous commercial AC installation experience * FGas qualification * CSCS card * Full UK driving licence * Good understanding of AC installation and pipework * Confidence working alongside Senior Engineers * The ability to work independently on smaller jobs * A good attitude and pride in your workmanship You don't need to be a fully-fledged Senior AC Engineer — we're looking for someone in that next stage of their career who wants to develop, take on more responsibility and progress. If you're an AC Installer who's ready to move beyond improver level, earn up to £42k + travel pay, and build your experience across some really good commercial projects, I'd love to hear from you. 📞 Call Lily at Tech-People: (phone number removed) Tech-People are specialists within HVAC, FM & M&E recruitment.
