Maintenance Technician - North London N1 - start asap

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to work within a professional workplace environment in North London (N1).

Start: ASAP

Hours: 45 hours per week

PAYE: Β£20.00 per hour

Umbrella PAYE: Β£26.03 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day building and workplace maintenance
  • Complete reactive repairs and basic planned maintenance
  • Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical repairs
  • Maintain furniture, fixtures and fittings
  • Identify faults and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
  • Carry out regular workplace inspections and report defects
  • Liaise with contractors and other facilities teams when required
  • Respond to workplace maintenance requests and provide good customer service
  • Keep the workplace safe, functional and presentable
  • Update maintenance records and workplace management systems

Requirements

  • Previous building maintenance, facilities or relevant trade experience
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable using digital/workplace management systems
  • Hands-on, reliable and professional approach
