Maintenance Technician - North London N1 - start asap
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to work within a professional workplace environment in North London (N1).
Start: ASAP
Hours: 45 hours per week
PAYE: Β£20.00 per hour
Umbrella PAYE: Β£26.03 per hour
Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day building and workplace maintenance
- Complete reactive repairs and basic planned maintenance
- Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical repairs
- Maintain furniture, fixtures and fittings
- Identify faults and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Carry out regular workplace inspections and report defects
- Liaise with contractors and other facilities teams when required
- Respond to workplace maintenance requests and provide good customer service
- Keep the workplace safe, functional and presentable
- Update maintenance records and workplace management systems
Requirements
- Previous building maintenance, facilities or relevant trade experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable using digital/workplace management systems
- Hands-on, reliable and professional approach
