I'm working with a growing and highly respected HVAC & FM specialist who is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join their expanding mobile team across Merseyside, Chester and Manchester.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work across a strong portfolio of commercial and industrial sites, with a mixture of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, plenty of variety and the chance to build a long-term career with a business that is continuing to grow. The Role
As an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping a varied portfolio of commercial sites across Merseyside, Chester and Manchester running efficiently. You'll be carrying out:
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Servicing and breakdowns
- Reactive repairs
- Fault-finding and diagnostics
- Maintenance of commercial air conditioning systems
- Working predominantly on VRV / VRF systems
- Servicing and maintaining CO2 refrigeration systems
- Identifying faults and providing effective repairs
- Ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Building strong relationships with customers on site
You'll also join a 1-in-5 callout rota, with £140 guaranteed standby per week, giving you the opportunity to earn considerably more alongside your basic salary.
