Laggers / Thermal Insulation Engineers Required - Central London
We are currently looking for experienced Laggers / Thermal Insulation Engineers for a project based in Central London.
Start Date: 05/05/2026
Duration: TBC (potential for ongoing work)
Rate: 24.00 - 27.00 per hour
Hours: 8-9 hours per day
Duties will include:
- Installing thermal insulation on pipework, ductwork, and plant room systems
- Working with materials such as foil-faced insulation, mineral wool, and Isogenopak cladding systems
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation to specification
- Fixing and finishing insulation using bands, rivets, adhesives, and tape
- Reading and working from drawings and site instructions
- Ensuring high-quality finishes and compliance with site standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Valid TICA Card (essential)
- Own tools and full PPE
- Proven experience as a Thermal Insulation Engineer / Lagger
- Ability to install all aspects of pipe and duct insulation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
