HVAC Engineer, Beeston, start 07/09/2026

Duration: 2 months

Hours: 40 hours per week, 7:30am–4:30pm

Rate: 28.17 per hour Umbrella PAYE / 21.64 per hour PAYE

We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer for a 2–month contract.

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Fault finding and repairs across HVAC plant and equipment
  • Maintenance of VRV/VRF air conditioning systems
  • Working with refrigerants and ensuring safe handling of F–Gas
  • Monitoring plant and equipment performance and improving efficiency
  • Using BMS systems to monitor and manage environmental conditions
  • Completing maintenance records and documentation using a CAFM system
  • Identifying and managing equipment risks and critical spares
  • Completing and following Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permits
  • Liaising with the onsite Supervisor, Account Manager and client
  • Supporting the wider maintenance team with mechanical and electrical expertise
  • Supervising subcontractors when required
  • Supporting site Health & Safety requirements

Requirements:

  • Strong HVAC maintenance experience
  • F–Gas qualification
  • VRV/VRF air conditioning experience
  • Good fault–finding skills
  • Multi–skilled mechanical/electrical experience
  • PPM and reactive maintenance experience
  • Relevant apprenticeship/City & Guilds qualification
  • IPAF/PASMA and BMS experience desirable
