Duration: 2 months
Hours: 40 hours per week, 7:30am–4:30pm
Rate: 28.17 per hour Umbrella PAYE / 21.64 per hour PAYE
We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer for a 2–month contract.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs across HVAC plant and equipment
- Maintenance of VRV/VRF air conditioning systems
- Working with refrigerants and ensuring safe handling of F–Gas
- Monitoring plant and equipment performance and improving efficiency
- Using BMS systems to monitor and manage environmental conditions
- Completing maintenance records and documentation using a CAFM system
- Identifying and managing equipment risks and critical spares
- Completing and following Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permits
- Liaising with the onsite Supervisor, Account Manager and client
- Supporting the wider maintenance team with mechanical and electrical expertise
- Supervising subcontractors when required
- Supporting site Health & Safety requirements
Requirements:
- Strong HVAC maintenance experience
- F–Gas qualification
- VRV/VRF air conditioning experience
- Good fault–finding skills
- Multi–skilled mechanical/electrical experience
- PPM and reactive maintenance experience
- Relevant apprenticeship/City & Guilds qualification
- IPAF/PASMA and BMS experience desirable
