I'm working with a long-established and rapidly growing air conditioning specialist who has built an excellent reputation across London and the surrounding Home Counties. They're looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service & Repair Engineer to join their growing team - someone who is technically strong, enjoys fault-finding and wants the opportunity to develop their skills, take on more responsibility and progress within the business.
You'll be working across a varied portfolio of air conditioning systems, with a strong focus on service, breakdowns, repairs and diagnostics, alongside opportunities to get involved with installation, commissioning and project work. The Role
As an Air Conditioning Service & Repair Engineer, you'll be carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive works across commercial and domestic environments. You'll be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems
- Fault-finding and diagnostics
- Working on VRF, VRV and split systems
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out effective repairs
- Completing commissioning certificates and job documentation
- Providing technical advice and recommendations to customers on site
- Occasionally supporting installation, testing and commissioning on project works
- Working to agreed programmes and maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Representing the business professionally on customer sites
What We're Looking For
- City & Guilds Level 2 F-Gas & ODS Regulations - Category 1
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualification AC experience
- Strong background in service, breakdowns and repairs
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with VRF/VRV and split systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
IPAF/PASMA would be advantageous but isn't essential - training can be provided. BMS knowledge would also be a bonus.
