Multi-Skilled Electrical-Biased Building Services Engineer - Hull, start 01/09/2026

We are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Electrical-Biased Building Services Engineer for a static site in Hull.

Job Details

Start: 01/09/2026

Duration: Until 02/10/2026 minimum, ongoing for the right candidate

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Days: Monday to Friday

Location: Hull

Pay: Β£26.91 per hour Umbrella PAYE / Β£20.67 per hour PAYE

Duties

  • Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across the site.
  • Electrical fault finding, repairs and general electrical maintenance.
  • Emergency lighting checks and testing.
  • Temperature checks and lamping.
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance to electrical systems and installations.
  • Basic mechanical/building services maintenance where required.
  • PPMs on AHUs, FCUs and other building services equipment.
  • Responding to reactive maintenance requests and ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
  • Working safely and in accordance with site procedures and relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 17th Edition electrical qualification - essential.
  • Previous experience working as a multi-skilled or electrical-biased building services engineer.
  • Good experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Electrical maintenance experience is essential, with some mechanical/building services knowledge.
  • Reliable, professional and able to work independently on a static site.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Hull.
