A construction contractor that provides planned and reactive maintenance in the Rail, Education, Health, and small civil engineering works across the South and East of England is currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Coordinator in their office in St Albans.

Helpdesk Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Being the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls and service requests received by telephone and email.
  • Working with the GTR Asset Pro live reporting system ensuring all assigned jobs are started and completed within the contract SLA.
  • Sorting and dispatching calls to engineers or sub-contractors based on the correct skill set, geographical location, and service delivery arrangements.
  • Prioritising urgent jobs and planning and dispatching operative/sub-contract support to address urgent demand.
  • Having a proven track record in Facilities Management within an administration/helpdesk role and strong CAFM system knowledge.

Helpdesk Coordinator will need:

  • Experience with planning and scheduling of engineers.
  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance.
  • To attend training and Health and Safety courses from time to time as directed by the Contracts Manager.
  • Exceptional customer service and administration skills.
  • Previous use of a CAFM system.
  • To work from 08:30-17:30.

Helpdesk Coordinator will be paid up to £28k + Package + Holiday.
