Overview: Health & Safety Manager — South of England (Hybrid - Office, Site & Home-Based). Salary £35,000 - £50,000 + package. We are working with a specialist construction company delivering high-security projects across the South of England. They are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of H&S compliance and documentation while ensuring the highest safety standards across their sites. This is a hybrid role with a mix of home working and site visits.
Role: Our client is looking for someone who can overhaul and improve H&S documentation, ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001. You will work closely with project teams to promote a strong safety culture while conducting site inspections, risk assessments and audits.
Responsibilities:
- Overhaul and improve H&S documentation and processes
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and latest legislation
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement in health & safety procedures
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
- Proven experience in Health & Safety
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 compliance
- Ability to manage multiple sites and work independently
Location & Salary: Must be a commutable distance of Southampton. Salary £35,000 - £50,000 + package.
