We are currently looking for a Facilities Assistant to join a professional FM team on a busy corporate site.
Job Details:
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Until 18/10/2026
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- PAYE: £13.94 per hour
- Umbrella: £18.15 per hour
Duties:
- Supporting the wider Facilities Management (FM) team and helping ensure the site remains compliant with Health & Safety requirements.
- Providing professional Front of House / Reception support across different floors of the building.
- Working closely with housekeeping, security and other service partners to ensure requests are dealt with promptly.
- Carrying out basic housekeeping duties, including:
- Loading and unloading dishwashers
- Spot cleaning high-use areas
- Meeting room and communal area resets
- General upkeep of kitchen facilities
- Monitoring and replenishing floor and kitchen consumables.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
- Being visible and approachable throughout the building.
- Providing a friendly and professional service to colleagues and visitors.
- Supporting the FM team with general day-to-day tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, friendly and customer-focused approach.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working across different areas of a busy corporate building.
- Ability to work as part of a wider FM team.
- Previous experience in front of house, facilities, hospitality, customer service or a similar environment would be advantageous.
Immediate availability is preferred.
