The predicted salary is between 14.4 - 17.6 £ per hour.

We are currently looking for a Facilities Assistant to join a professional FM team on a busy corporate site.

Job Details:

  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: Until 18/10/2026
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • PAYE: £13.94 per hour
  • Umbrella: £18.15 per hour

Duties:

  • Supporting the wider Facilities Management (FM) team and helping ensure the site remains compliant with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Providing professional Front of House / Reception support across different floors of the building.
  • Working closely with housekeeping, security and other service partners to ensure requests are dealt with promptly.
  • Carrying out basic housekeeping duties, including:
    • Loading and unloading dishwashers
    • Spot cleaning high-use areas
    • Meeting room and communal area resets
    • General upkeep of kitchen facilities
    • Monitoring and replenishing floor and kitchen consumables.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
  • Being visible and approachable throughout the building.
  • Providing a friendly and professional service to colleagues and visitors.
  • Supporting the FM team with general day-to-day tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, friendly and customer-focused approach.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working across different areas of a busy corporate building.
  • Ability to work as part of a wider FM team.
  • Previous experience in front of house, facilities, hospitality, customer service or a similar environment would be advantageous.

Immediate availability is preferred.
