A well-established and growing building services provider is seeking an Electrical Bias Building Services Engineer to cover a portfolio of care homes across London. This is a stable, long-term role offering a varied workload, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work across multiple sites within a secure sector.
The Opportunity:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and servicing of electrical and building services systems across several care home sites.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and general building services systems
- Fault-finding and repair of electrical systems and associated plant
- Basic mechanical maintenance where required, including pumps, motors, and HVAC equipment
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Completing site documentation and reporting accurately
- Liaising with site staff and management to ensure minimal disruption to residents and operations
- Supporting compliance across all sites, including testing and inspections
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Level 3 Electrical Installations
- Previous experience within building services maintenance, ideally within commercial or healthcare environments
- A good understanding of both electrical and basic mechanical systems
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding ability and a proactive, customer-focused approach
The successful Electrical Bias Building Services Engineer will be on up to £45,000, depending on experience + van + package.
