Business Development Coordinator London - Victoria Hybrid Working 3/4 days working from home 1/2 in London Salary: £40,000 - £45,000K DOE Reports to: Business Development Director The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the preparation, coordination, and submission of bids, proposals, and tender responses while also assisting with sales & marketing activities that promote the company's brand and business growth. They will research and identify potential clients, partners and new business opportunities. Support the development and maintenance of a strong sales pipeline. Coordinate outbound business development activity, including emails, calls, meetings and follow-ups while maintaining an accurate and up-to-date CRM system. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities Sales *Development and maintenance of a strong sales pipeline. *Coordinate outbound business development activity, including emails, calls, meetings and follow-ups *Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date CRM system. Bid Coordination *Coordinate the end-to-end bid and tender process from opportunity arrival through to submission. *Review tender documentation and identify submission requirements, deadlines, and compliance criteria. *Develop bid plans, timelines, and action trackers to ensure timely completion. *Liaise with the company departments to gather technical, commercial, and operational information. *Prepare, edit, and format bid responses to ensure consistency, accuracy, and professionalism. *Maintain a library of bid content, case studies, CVs, certifications, and supporting documentation. Marketing Support *Assist in the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. *Create and update brochures, presentations, and capability statements. *Manage website content updates and support social media activity. *Organise promotional events, exhibitions, networking events, and client engagement activities. Skills & Experience Essential *Previous experience in bid coordination, marketing, business development, or a similar administrative role. *Excellent written communication and proofreading skills. *Strong organisational and project coordination abilities. *High attention to detail and accuracy. *Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. *Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
